Understanding Leadership – Developing First Line Managers into Leaders
The inaugural session of our ILM Level 3 Management Programme, this workshop is aimed at helping manager assess and develop appropriate leadership styles. It will allow participants to reflect on current practices, take part in case studies and activities and ultimately build confidence and develop skills to ensure that they can make a real change in their workplace!
Topics covered will include:
- What’s your style?…An assessment of your leadership style
- Why one size does not fit all?
- The Leadership Olympics..getting to gold!
- The impact of your Leadership on your Team!
- Developing leadership skills for success!
This workshop will be highly interactive, encouraging participants to reflect on their own actions and organisations and to develop action plans to implement on their return to the workplace.
We also offer candidates the option of completing an assignment and registering with the ILM for this to contribute towards a Level 3 Award, Certificate or Diploma in Leadership and Management with the ILM.
Jane Campbell is our trainer for this course. A former Senior Management Consultant for Deloitte & Touche Major Projects Division and PA Consulting Group, she has a wealth of experience developing team performance and managing change in organisations both nationally and internationally.
