Wellbeing Training
The World Health Organisation defines mental health as ‘a state of well-being in which every individual realises his or her own potential, can cope with the normal stresses of life, can work productively and fruitfully, and is able to contribute.’ Stress is a major cause of sickness absence in the workplace and costs over £5billion a year in Great Britain. In the Construction industry, it is estimated that 350,000 professionals maybe affected by mental health (ONS, 2018).
This course provides an engaging mix of theory, research, practical application that supports professionals in working efficiently and effectively in the workplace, while still maintaining good emotional health and wellbeing.
