This one-day introductory course on Basic Reinforced Concrete Detailing to Eurocode 2 (EN 1992) aims to equip delegates with the knowledge and skills to understand detailing principles, responsibilities, information transmission, compliance checks, and good practice rules. The course covers documentation, drawing practices, detailing methods, bar bending schedules, and more. It targets novice Civil/Structural Technicians and Detailers, offering hands-on exercises and practical insights into the construction process. No previous detailing experience is required.

This one-day course aims to equip pipeline operatives with knowledge of safety legislation and its application. Modules cover topics such as health and safety law, environmental aspects, accident reporting, fire precautions, COSHH, PPE, manual handling, noise and vibration, construction plant and equipment, working at height, welding, underground services, and traffic management. The course targets operational personnel working on pipeline contracts and is suitable for the water sector. Group sizes are limited to 15 participants for effective interaction, and testing includes random questions with an 80% pass mark per module.

The one-day course on highway maintenance focuses on achieving network safety, serviceability, and sustainability within shrinking maintenance budgets. It covers various maintenance practices and materials, including patching, recycling techniques, and surface course selection. Suitable for highway design staff, Highway Agency MAC employees, younger Local Authorities' staff, and inspectors needing guidance on maintenance treatments. Participants are encouraged to share problem sites for discussion. The course is not intended for fully experienced highway maintenance personnel.

This half-day course aims to equip pipeline operatives with knowledge of safety legislation in a pipeline context. The modular objectives cover environmental aspects, legislation compliance, safety practices near lifting operations, excavation rules, welding and radiography hazards, PPE requirements, underground service identification, traffic management principles, and vehicular movement risks. The course targets operational personnel working on pipeline contracts with Gas Networks or similar, holding a Utility SHEA (Gas) Passport. The course duration is 2.5 hours for transitioning to CCPHSE, with a maximum of 15 participants per session for effective interaction and learning. Module tests are conducted with an 80% pass mark.

This one-day course is designed for construction managers, site supervisors, and technicians to learn about controlling concrete on site. The course covers topics such as fresh concrete, consistence requirements, concrete strength, durability, placing and compacting concrete, curing, accepting readymix on site, sampling and testing fresh concrete, and includes a session for questions, answers, and discussions.

The EC7 Training course is designed for geotechnical professionals in the UK to understand new standards for describing soils and rocks. The course covers changes in soil description practices, including practical sessions for hands-on learning. Topics include background to EC7, soil description for coarse and fine soils, and special soils like Made Ground and Organic soils. The course aims to increase knowledge and skills in soil description according to EC7 and other standards.
