The course aims to equip participants with the knowledge and skills necessary to work safely in the water industry.

This one-day course, developed in consultation with the gas industry, covers seven core modules and five specific to the gas industry. It focuses on health and safety regulations, hazard identification, risk assessment, personal protective equipment, emergency procedures, and environmental impact. The course is delivered by trainers approved by Energy & Utility Skills and is designed to provide comprehensive knowledge and skills relevant to the gas industry.

This one-day course aims to equip pipeline operatives with knowledge of safety legislation and its application. Modules cover topics such as health and safety law, environmental aspects, accident reporting, fire precautions, COSHH, PPE, manual handling, noise and vibration, construction plant and equipment, working at height, welding, underground services, and traffic management. The course targets operational personnel working on pipeline contracts and is suitable for the water sector. Group sizes are limited to 15 participants for effective interaction, and testing includes random questions with an 80% pass mark per module.
