The Highway Drainage Training course focuses on introducing Sustainable Urban Drainage Systems (SUDS) to manage surface water run-off in urban environments. The course covers topics such as sustainability, historical road drainage designs, hydrological criteria, climate change, construction, and legislation. Suitable for construction professionals, the 2-day course is led by Professor Robert Jackson, an expert in sustainable engineering technologies.

The SHEA Electric Training course, developed in consultation with the electricity industry, consists of seven core modules focusing on health and safety in the context of electricity transmission and distribution industries. The course covers topics such as legal duties, hazards to health, personal protective equipment, working environment safety, environmental impact awareness, incident procedures, and equipment regulations. Training is managed by Energy & Utility Skills and must be delivered by approved trainers. The course aims to ensure participants understand and adhere to industry-specific safety protocols.

The Utility Safety Health and Environment Awareness (SHEA) course is developed to offer standardized health, safety, and environmental awareness training in the utilities sector. The Power scheme is tailored for individuals involved in electricity transmission and distribution operations, including operatives, supervisors, and management. The course consists of eight core modules covering health, safety, and environmental practices, aiming to demonstrate knowledge and awareness on-site. The Utility SHEA (Power) card is valid for three years and serves as a passport scheme without indicating technical competence.
