Utility Safety Health and Environmental Awareness (Electricity) (SHEA)
The SHEA Electric Training course, developed in consultation with the electricity industry, consists of seven core modules focusing on health and safety in the context of electricity transmission and distribution industries. The course covers topics such as legal duties, hazards to health, personal protective equipment, working environment safety, environmental impact awareness, incident procedures, and equipment regulations. Training is managed by Energy & Utility Skills and must be delivered by approved trainers. The course aims to ensure participants understand and adhere to industry-specific safety protocols.
