QGIS for Environmentalists
The QGIS Training course is designed for individuals interested in learning geographic information software, especially those in ecology, conservation, and the environment. Geared towards beginners, the course equips participants with skills to manage, analyze, and present geographically referenced data, troubleshoot common issues, and create GIS workflows. Topics covered include GIS overview, data manipulation, analysis, cartography, and professional output creation. Led by Nevis' Head of GIS, Lucy Arnold, the 2-day course provides a training manual and flash drive for ongoing reference. Onsite closed company courses are also available.
