Course Content
BIM is widely known for achieving efficiency savings in time and cost, reducing waste and the need for re-work, however, it is also extremely efficient in the management and delivery of health and safety on building and infrastructure projects.
BIM allows health and safety information to be presented and shared in ways that can improve the process and procedures on your projects at every stage.
There are a number of practical applications that can be developed at each stage of the construction process to improve health and safety and information can be gathered and translated into something useful, which in effect adds value. In this course we will show you how to use the project information to support health and safety.
This course will also help you understand the benefits of structured health and safety information management and its digital information exchange across the entire supply chain. The application of BIM to health and safety is a natural progression of its capabilities.
This course will be delivered live by your BIM Academy instructor over our virtual learning platform.
