Overview
This 2 day course will cover the ’10 steps of Good Project Management’ which are fundamental to the Structured Project Management approach.
The course will be delivered to groups of up to 10 – 12 delegates by Patricia Gorst who has led and been involved in Projects and their management over the last 20 years.
Who should attend
Attendees of this course will be people who are changing their job role to include Project Management or staff who are already Project Managers but find that they have difficulty in running and/or controlling their projects. The latter may even be adverse to change. Alternatively, this course is also suitable for anyone wishing to become a Project Manager and take onboard the Project Manager role.

The learning outcomes of this course will benefit any delegate wishing to take on the role of Project Manager; with advice about the need for a good structured approach to produce essential documentation to those who are already Project Managers. Both will display the necessity for accountability within the project management system and also the need for the Project Manager to be a leader who can provide inspiration to the Project Team, command their respect and ensure that the project meets its objectives and goals.
Starting with a PID (Project Initiation Document) and moving onto Scoping, Resourcing and Managing their projects to completion; Patricia will teach these topics using her own practical experiences and the knowledge she has learned over the years.
Paper Templates will be issued to each delegate in the format of a pack and also electronically on CD. These templates will be completed during the course and can be used for future use.
Assessment Process:
The Assessment process is ongoing throughout the course and individuals reaching the required Standard will be issued with a Certificate of Achievement.
