The Assertiveness Training course is designed for team leaders, managers, and staff seeking to improve their influencing skills and assertiveness. Participants will learn to define influence and assertiveness, understand different behavior styles, identify effective influencers, recognize power sources, and determine influencing strategies for key contacts. The course covers topics such as assertiveness styles, power sources, and key influencing strategies. Methods include discussions, practical exercises, case studies, skill practice, DVD exercises, and syndicate sessions. The course is available for 1 or 2 days at various locations in the UK.

  • Recognise and demonstrate the main sources of power.
  • Recognise and demonstrate the main influencing strategies.
  • Determine the right strategies for key contacts in your workplace.
