This course is designed for bridge engineers with some steel bridge design experience, focusing on the fundamental design principles of Eurocode 1993-2. Learning outcomes include understanding various types of steel bridges, bridge modeling and highway loading, structural analysis and section classification, designing key structural elements, steel bridge detailing and fabrication, and working through worked examples for each key section.

Course Content
The EC3 for Steel Bridge Designers course is suitable for bridge engineers who have some design experience in steel bridges, although it is not essential. It is based on fundamental design approach of Eurocode 1993-2.
The learning outcomes will be as follows:

- Structural analysis and section classification
- Design key structural elements of steel bridges
- Understanding of the steel bridge detailing and fabrication
