The NEC4 Engineering and Construction Contract (ECC) is a contract specifically developed to appoint contractors for engineering and construction project work, including projects with any level of design responsibility. This NEC4 ECC framework provides a modern, collaborative method that enables clients, designers, contractors, and project managers to work together effectively to consistently achieve their project objectives under the NEC4 Engineering and Construction Contract (ECC).

Attendees of this course will have a much clearer understanding of the intent of the specific contractual clauses of the ECC contract and in practical terms begin to see how they should administer them for the benefit of all parties on a particular project.

This one-day workshop briefly introduces you to the common principles applicable to the NEC family of contracts. It then focuses on the requirements for the pre-contract information (Contract Data and Scope) of the NEC4 Engineering and Construction Short Contract (ECSC) and its post-contract management processes. 

This one-day workshop introduces you to the NEC4 Engineering and Construction Short Contract and Short Subcontract – assuming attendees already have an understanding of the suite of NEC contracts.

This is a blended learning advanced level course that brings the role of the ECC Project Manager to life. Other NEC3 training courses examine what the project manager has to do, this course is the first to focus on how it should be done.
