Synergie Training are delighted to announce they are now able to offer the RenewableUK Accredited Wind Turbine Safety Rules Training (WTSR) course.
This is a key H&S related course in the Environmental sector which will allow delegates to have a clear understanding of the WTSR and where required, be in position to be nominated to attend a WTSR Interview panel to allow the individual to be appointed as an Authorised Technician.
Synergie Training can offer this course both onsite as a closed company course and will also be the only company in Scotland offering public course dates with the first being in Glasgow in June of this year.
Teaming up with Chris Streatfeild at Forge Risk who is one of only 18 official RenewableUK accredited companies in the UK will enable Synergie to offer this as an accredited course which is key in guaranteeing the quality.
Chris is a highly experienced professional with over 30 years’ experience working in complex and high risk business and operational environments. He was appointed as the first Director of Health & Safety at RenewableUK in 2008 before establishing Forge Risk in 2016. During his career, he has played a leading role in the deployment of safe and sustainable renewable energy technologies at a UK and international level. Chris is currently the UK lead on IEC PT 61400-30- Wind Turbines – Safety of the Wind Turbine Generators and the UK representative on IEC TC 120 Electrical Energy Storage Systems WG5 (Safety). He also has wide-ranging experience in manufacturing, construction and asset management.
