Online BIM Framework Training Course

This training course provides an overview to the International standards ISO 19650 series, and will answer questions such as what is the UK BIM Framework, what benefits it brings and how this can be applied in a project scenario. It also focuses on wider Information Management where BIM plays a major role. Attendees will come away being able to apply this knowledge in practice from applying the UK BIM Framework. The UK BIM Framework Learning Outcomes are also covered, enabling participants to understand how they may gain recognition for training at various levels

The UK BIM Framework supports digital data exchange in the built environment. It is designed to enable collaboration and sharing of information between all organisations involved in the construction process, from early stages through to completion. The framework is part of a wider movement known as Information Management (IM), a set of principles, processes and technologies that seek to improve performance by making full use of all relevant knowledge and information about an organisation’s assets and activities – both tangible and intangible.
