The Internal Environmental Management System (EMS) Auditor Training course focuses on equipping participants with the skills to conduct environmental audits effectively. Environmental audits can be undertaken for a variety of reasons, they can be designed to review environmental performance to ensure compliance with legislation, or that an Environmental Management System (EMS) is working effectively. They can be used to review the performance of a supplier or contractor or can be specific to a particular subject (e.g. waste, water or energy) to identify potential cost saving opportunities. All audits should identify opportunities for continual improvement of environmental performance.
The Internal EMS Auditor course includes a live on-site audit exercise.
