Eurocode 2 for Bridges Designers – 2 Days
- Eurocode 2 course focuses on applying new design standard for concrete bridges.
- Delegates will learn principles of Eurocode 2 for bridge structures.
- Course covers materials, durability, structural analysis, and design for various elements.
- Participants will gain knowledge on flexure, shear, axial loading, and more.
- Intended for Structural Engineers with some concrete design knowledge.
Overview
The Eurocode 2 for Bridges Designers course aims to provide a thorough understanding of the principles of Eurocode 2 and how to apply them to bridge structures. Delegates will gain knowledge on design standards for structural concrete in bridges and practical skills through workshop sessions. The course covers topics such as materials, durability, and various design aspects for beams, slabs, piers, and foundations. It is designed for Structural Engineers with some prior knowledge of concrete design and Eurocodes.
Who should attend
Structural Engineers
Course Content
Introduction
Eurocode 2 is the new design standard for structural concrete in bridges. This course will provide background to the provisions in the code and explain how to apply them to bridge structures. Practical workshop sessions allow delegates to get to grips with the details and be confident of using Eurocode 2 for real projects.
