The Safe Use of Hydrogen course package provides a comprehensive picture of how hydrogen should be handled safely at all stages of production, distribution and use. It is intended for technical managers, process designers, safety engineers, operators, technicians, inspectors, etc. who need to understand the hazards of hydrogen.

It explains how its flammability differs from natural gas, its effect on material properties and material selection, how process and storage facilities should be designed and how it should be managed safely and responsibly by procedure. The learning is applied in a group exercise to design a hydrogen compression, storage and offloading facility.

The course can be delivered on site, with some customisation if required, or web based with live presentations and feedback opportunities with video recordings, quiz questions and study materials. As a participant you will be able to join the lecture in real time or watch the recorded lectures afterwards. There will be skilled teachers with both academic and practical experience.
