Overview
This course is designed for individuals seeking to enhance their skills in creating and editing alignment templates. Participants will learn to establish relationships between template points, test templates, and reuse components efficiently. The course covers corridor clipping, overlay and planning sections creation, and quantity reporting. Prior knowledge of horizontal and vertical alignment tools is required. The course is a one-day session.

Course Content
This course follows on from the alignment design course and is intended for people who want a better understanding of how to create and edit a template which can be applied to your alignment.
We will show you how to create the relationships between template points and how to test your template to ensure it works the way you expect.
We will also show you how to utilise components you have already created so that you never have to create a template twice.
Once you have finished your template creation we will show you how to clip out a corridor across a junction, removing components such as earthworks and kerbs across your junction.
We will also show you how to create overlay and planning sections and how to report the quantities
This course assumes that you already have a good understanding of the horizontal and vertical alignment tools
