Eurocode 2 for Bridges Designers
- Eurocode 2 for Bridges Designers provides knowledge and practical skills for applying Eurocode 2 to bridge structures. Delegates will learn principles, materials, and design aspects for beams, slabs, piers, and more. The course aims to equip Structural Engineers with the ability to design for flexure, shear, axial loading, and other key considerations in bridge design.
Overview
The "Online Eurocode 2 for Bridges Designers" course aims to provide a comprehensive understanding of Eurocode 2 principles for structural concrete in bridges. Delegates will learn to apply the code to bridge structures, covering topics such as materials, durability, and design for various loading conditions. Practical workshop sessions enhance learning, enabling participants to confidently use Eurocode 2 in real projects. This course targets Structural Engineers with some knowledge of concrete design and Eurocodes 0 and 1. The duration is 2 days.
Who should attend
Structural Engineers
Course Content
Eurocode 2 is the new design standard for structural concrete in bridges. This course will provide background to the provisions in the code and explain how to apply them to bridge structures. Practical workshop sessions allow delegates to get to grips with the details and be confident of using Eurocode 2 for real projects.
