Online Eurocode 7 Training
Pre-requisites
Delegates should have a basic understanding of geotechnical design, but no prior
knowledge of the Eurocodes is necessary.
Eurocode 7 is the current European and British standard for geotechnical design. This
course explains how the code differs from traditional practice and other standards in the
Eurocode suite. It concentrates on the design fundamentals, which engineers need to
understand before attempting detailed design. Practical tutorials show delegates how to
apply the fundamental Principles embodied in Eurocode 7.
Aims and objectives
On completion, delegates will have a sound knowledge of the principles of Eurocode 7
and be able to apply them to simple geotechnical designs.
