Overview
This half-day course focuses on enhancing employees' understanding of Health and Safety in the workplace, particularly in relation to the Control of Substances at Work. It aims to clarify individual responsibilities and can be integrated into induction or ongoing safety training programmes. Suitable for all workers, the course covers topics such as the Health & Safety at Work Act, employer and employee duties, hazard and risk assessment, COSHH regulations, health effects of chemicals, risk control measures, personal protective equipment, routes of entry, and safety signage.

COURSE DESCRIPTION
This course will enable employees to ensure that their actions contribute to Health and Safety in the workplace relating to the Control of Substances at Work, and that individual responsibilities are clearly understood. This course can be delivered as part of an induction programme, it can also form part of ongoing safety training.

All workers have responsibilities under HASAWA. This programme is suitable for all employees, to increase the awareness of using Chemicals whilst at work.
