Overview
The FIDIC Training course is designed to provide an intermediate level understanding of the notification, submission, and resolution of claims under the 1999 FIDIC Conditions of Contract. Participants will learn essential actions for fair claim resolution, review relevant claims clauses, and explore dispute settlement procedures. Overview
An intermediate level course on the notification, submission and resolution of claims under the 1999 FIDIC Conditions of Contract.
This course concentrates on the essential actions to be taken by the Contractor and the Engineer to ensure that any claims are dealt with fairly and in accordance with the Contract. The course reviews the relevant claims clauses and the procedures for the settlement of disputes by the Engineer and the Dispute Board or Adjudicator.
Delegates should have a basic knowledge of the FIDIC Contracts and be ready for a more detailed review and discussion on the claims and dispute procedures.
At the end of the course you should be able to:
Understand the procedures which are essential for a fair resolution of claims in accordance with the Contract.
Identify and apply the requirements of the key claims clauses.
