This online QGIS training course is designed for environmentalists to learn how to effectively use QGIS software for environmental data analysis and mapping. The course covers topics such as installing QGIS, working with datasets, creating shapefiles, and generating graphical outputs. Additional topics may include geoprocessing and georeferencing, depending on the group's progress. The course can be completed in one day or split into two half-days.

The Online QGIS Training course is designed for beginners with little to no experience in using QGIS but with basic computer skills. The training focuses on practical exercises using environmental data. Participants will learn how to view and style spatial data, set up projects, utilize various data sources, create their own data, perform geoprocessing operations, and produce high-quality outputs. Taught by experienced trainer Judith Nathanail, the course covers topics such as GIS installation, project setup, data addition, cartography basics, and geoprocessing.
