Scaffold Inspection Course

For whom the training is intended
Employers, managers, supervisors and operatives working within the construction industry.
This will help them understand the points to be considered when inspecting scaffold for safe access / egress and there use as working platforms.
Aim of the course
The aim of this course is to train selected people in the skills and knowledge required to familiarise participants with the safety requirements and knowledge relevant to the inspection of scaffolding equipment.
Course Contents
Identify their legal duties under health & safety legislation.
Identify that the correct equipment is being used.
Be able to identify hazards and faults in a scaffold structure by inspection.
Record the findings in a suitable manner.
Demonstrate to colleagues how to resolve the problems

Information
This course allows inspection of basic scaffold structures, but the candidate should not inspect structures which they are not competent to inspect.
There is both theory and practical sessions with max number of candidates of 9
