This one-day course focuses on the provisions of the NEC3 Engineering and Construction Short Contract (ECSC). The ECSC is intended for use in contracts that do not require sophisticated management techniques, comprise straightforward work and impose only low risks on both the Employer and the Contractor. The delegates will gain an understanding of the key pre- and post-contract aspects of ECSC and will appreciate where, when and how to effectively use this simple form of contract.
