This is a practical one-day workshop intended for Employers, Project Managers, Contractors, Subcontractors and Consultants who are involved in the pre- and post-contract stage of projects and will focus on the provisions of the NEC3 Engineering and Construction Contract (ECC). Through a series of interactive case studies, the delegates will be provided with invaluable practical guidance on completing the Contract Data part 1 and 2, assessment of tenders and on the integrated management processes and procedures contained within the ECC.
As this is a workshop based around a series of case studies, delegates should either have attended an Introduction to the ECC course or will have hands on experience of ECC projects.
Objectives
At the end of the course, you should:
o be able to prepare Contract Data parts 1 and 2 and appraise tenders
o apply the ECC in practice and to resolve problems
o understand important ECC clauses and processes in particular early warning, the programme, the Risk Register, communications and compensation events
o Run an ECC contract
